Covid-19 Guidelines & Procedures
Dear Eastgate Family,
We are excited to resume Sunday services on campus beginning June 21st! As you know, throughout this pandemic our primary focus has been the health and well being of you and your families. Which is why every decision we have made since March has had your best interests in mind. Also, we realize that we are all in this together and in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment, we will need your help. So, as we resume on campus ministry, the procedures outlined here are temporary and will only be successful if we all do our part. As time goes on, we will make necessary adjustments as restrictions are lifted and when it’s safe to do so.
What can I expect when I come?
Our building will continue to be sanitized and cleaned before and after each service.
We will be spraying seats with a CDC approved solution.
All team members who are serving on Sundays will be wearing masks, except for the Worship Team.
We will practice social distancing and serve our church family at a safe distance.
Greeters and ushers will help guide and instruct you every step of the way.
We will not be distributing any materials.
Tithes and offerings will continue through our app and online, and an envelope will be available in each of the seatbacks. Pens will not be provided.
Upcoming Event details can be found on our website.
The playground will be closed for the time being.
Doors will be propped open to avoid handle use.
We will have a similar seating layout as pre-quarantine. The ushers will seat you as a family or individual leaving a few seats in between.
Water fountains, coffee and mints are temporarily unavailable. Feel free to bring your own.
Hand sanitizer stations will be placed throughout both buildings.
Team members will undergo a health check prior to entering the building.
FCSO Deputy and the Eastgate Safety Team will be present on campus.
Skyler and Carol will be contacting parents of children in Nursery through 5th grade with Children’s Ministry protocol.
What do we need from you?
Practice social distancing.
Avoid physical contact; hugs, handshakes, elbow taps, etc.
Following the CDC guidelines, we are asking that if within the week you have had any of the following symptoms, that you view our service on the Eastgate website instead of in person.
Fever of 100.4 degrees fahrenheit and higher or chills
Shortness of breath
Muscle or body aches
Loss of taste or smell
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
If you have been in contact with anyone who has had COVID 19 over the past 14 days, please continue to attend our Online Campus.
We know that some of you are in the high-risk category or live with someone who is. Every person’s situation is unique, so know that we are here for you when you are ready to return. If you are not comfortable to return to campus at this time, we will be live streaming the service on our website, Facebook and YouTube! Children’s resources will also continue to be available on our website.
